1997 Buffet Crampon R13 Clarinet

One of several professional clarinets we are offering for sale. This is a Buffet Crampon R13 clarinet in Bb. S/n 443XXX is far too new or the published lists, but 2007 will be very close. It is in excellent condition:  grenadilla body has no chips, cracks, pins or repairs, and squared tenons with no wobble between joints. Nickel plating about 99.5% with a little cloudiness but no visible wear at all. Just through the shop where it was bore oiled and had all new Ferree's double-bladder, pressed-felt pads installed--a firm, long-lasting pad that will be trouble free for ages. Plays with little resistance, a crisp feel to the keywork, and a full, warm tone with excellent projection. Cork grease and key oil are for local pickup only and will not be shipped, but it does include a Vandoren M30 mouthpiece, Rovner (or Rovner type) inverted ligature, a new SuperSlick chamois swab, and a new ProTec microfiber cloth. All in the deluxe, brown leather attache case with gold hardware--itself in near perfect condition. Sells new at the online discounters for a whopping $4,200, so save more than $2,000, and snatch up one of the nicest R13's you'll find on the used market!
