2006 Fox Renard 333 Protege Oboe--Shop Adjusted, Nice!

One of several intermediate and professional oboes we are offering for sale.  This one is a Fox Renard Model 333 Protégé intermediate oboe.  S/n 24XXX makes this a relatively new 2006 model, and unlike earlier 333’s you may be looking at, it does include the F# key tab, low Bb, F-resonance key, and all-important left F key.  It is in exceptional condition:  no chips, cracks, repairs, or bore damage, silver plate with no noticeable wear at all, pads and corks all in excellent condition and sealing well.  Just through the shop where it had very minor adjustments, plays very nicely across all registers, with the caveat that oboes are finicky, hate shipping, and might require tweaking after a long journey in a FedEx truck.  Cork grease for local pickup only.  Comes in a very nice ProTec Maxx case with strap.  One of the most-recommended intermediate oboes for decades, and at $1,800 less than brand new!
