2007 Buffet Crampon R13 Bb Clarinet

One of several professional clarinets we are offering for sale. This is a Buffet Crampon R13 in Bb.  It is in excellent condition:  wood has no chips, cracks or repairs, and the tenons are square with no wobble.  Nickel plating about 98% with some wear mostly on a couple of the rings and the thumb tube, but still nice, shiny and great-looking as seen in the photos.  Unlike most of the clarinets you might be looking at, this one was just through the shop where it was disassembled, cleaned, bore oiled, lubed, and had all new pads installed with a cork upper and the lower in a combination of cork and Ferree’s B17 de’Jur double-bladder, pressed-felt pads.  A good, warm tone and even intonation typical of Buffet’s across the entire instrument.  Cork grease is for local pickup only and will not be shipped, but it does include a great Artley hard rubber mouthpiece in a 3 facing, D. Bonade inverted ligature, Buffet cap, swab, and Buffet’s little clip to hold tension on the one pinky lever while in storage.  Comes in the very nice attache case with two keys.  S/n 558XXX is far too new for the published lists, but should be 2007.  One of the newest and nicest R13’s you’ll find, and at more than $2,000 less than brand new!
