Bach Stradivarius 180S37 Trumpet, Heavy Caps, Extended Stop Rod!

One of our least expensive Bach Stradivarius trumpets this Christmas season!  This one is a model 180S37, the standard, all-around workhorse designed to do just about everything well.  It is in very good condition:  silver about 97% with small scratches and other imperfections left behind after removing some small dents, a tiny spot of wear on the 1st valve up under the leadpipe where it’s hard to see, but no significant dents, or other concerns.  The first valve slide has a small gap by the thumb hook as seen in the photos; not sure what that’s about, but the slide itself works fine, regardless.  Just through the shop where it was chem cleaned, lubed, polished, and had new water key cork, stop rod bumper and nuts, tuning slide O-rings, and valve felts installed.  Valves are fast and smooth and quiet.  All tuning slides are free, but the third-valve dump slide gets hard to remove if you push it in that last 1/16”.  A tiny bit of solder where the little pull knob was resoldered.  A couple fun bonuses with this horn:  new extended F-stop rod installed so you can play lower than your buddies, and upgraded heavy bottom caps, which really help focus the energy to the front of the horn for increased projection and power.  Includes a brand new ProTec slim profile mute, new ProTec finger protector, new ProTec microfiber cloth, flip folio for marching, BERP for embouchure training, 7C and 5C mouthpieces, and cleaning snake.  Valve oil and slide grease are for local pickup only and cannot be shipped.  Comes in a Bach Strad hard case with external wear.  S/n 4272XX.  An excellent horn with some fun upgrades and extras for your advanced student, and just in time for Christmas!
