Bach Stradivarius 180S37 W/ Gold Trim, Heavy Caps!

One of several Bach Stradivarius trumpets we are offering for sale.  This is a 180S37—Bach’s all-around workhorse designed to do pretty much everything well.  It is in good condition other than some wear mostly on the finger contact points around the top of the valves and inside the rings.  Very small scratches and dings such as might be left behind from past dent removal, but no significant dents, dings, or repairs.  Just through the shop where it was chem cleaned, detergent cleaned, lubed, polished, and had all new piston felts, water key cork, tuning slide O-rings, and stop rod bumper installed.  All tuning slides are free including the third-valve end slide, which is so often stuck that many people don’t know it’s even there.  Valves are fast and smooth with good compression.  Plays very well with an easily accessible upper register, and a focused tone with excellent projection due partly to the heavyweight bottom caps.  The included, brand-new ProTec leather, 3-point valve guard covers up almost all the wear, and also makes the gold-plated top caps, bottom caps, and valve stems stand out—another $200 in upgrades! Blue Juice valve oil is for local pickup only and will not be shipped, but it also includes a new ProTec microfiber cloth, 3C mouthpiece, mouthpiece pouch, and a Gator lightweight rigid case with strap in good condition with just a little loose stitching on one end.  A great playing horn with a little pizzazz and power to wow the judges, and at about $2,000 less than brand new!
