Bach Stradivarius C Trumpet 229G 25A ML!

One of several professional trumpets we are offering for sale. This is a Bach Stradivarius C trumpet with a 229G bell, 25A leadpipe, and ML bore.  This is a really neat configuration, with the 229 taper bell giving you the focus and projection you might expect, while the gold-brass bell alloy adds back in the warmth and darkened tone you might otherwise expect to sacrifice.  The longer 25A leadpipe and ML bore work well together to a nice balance of resistance and focus without the big air requirement of a larger bore horn.  In the end, you have a well-balanced horn with a warm, broad tone with good intonation and a friendly responsiveness.  It is in very good condition:  two-tone nickel and brass with some lacquer wear mostly on the left side of the bell, perhaps a rare, tiny dine, but no significant dents, dings, or any signs of repair.  The bell is practically flawless from the bead to the ferrule.  All tuning slides are free, valves are fast and smooth and quiet with very good compression.  Just through the shop where it was cleaned, lubed, polished, and had new water key cork, valve felts, and tuning slide O-rings installed.  Includes a new ProTec microfiber cloth, new ProTec leather finger saver, and cleaning rod.  Valve oil and tuning slide grease are for local pickup only and will not be shipped.  All in one of the nicest gig bags you’ll find:  a Ritter Classic, with three external pockets and reflective backpack straps.  If you prefer this with no case, or with a used ProTec triple case, please shoot us a message.  A great C trumpet for orchestral and symphonic work, and perfect for that empty slot in your double case!
