Bach Stradivarius LT18037 37* Lightweight Trumpet

One of several professional trumpets we are offering for sale.  This one is a Bach Stradivarius Bb LT18037—a bit upgraded from the standard Strad with a 37 bell, ML bore, 25 leadpipe, a light weight valve block and body, and a rounded tuning slide making it a super-responsive horn with great projection and greatly decreased resistance.  It is in excellent condition: lacquer about 98% with just a very small amount of wear, and some very small dings and marks left over from past dent removal.  Just chem cleaned, lubed, polished, and had all new valve felts, tuning-slide O-rings, water key cork, and stop rod nuts and bumper installed.  Has a very small chip off the bottom threads of one valve casing, but the bottom cap still screws on securely and this is functionally insignificant. All tuning slides free including the third-valve dump slide, which also has an added Amado water key.  Valves are fast and quiet with very good compression.  Note that this is oiled with synthetic oil, and you must use the same or thoroughly clean the pistons and casings prior to switching to a standard oil.  Valve oil and slide grease are for local pickup only and will not be shipped, but it does include the original standard tuning slide which appears to have had some dents removed resulting in a small patch being applied over the resulting pinholes, and was upgraded with another Amado water key.  Also includes a 5C and 7C mouthpiece and a new ProTec microfiber cloth.  Comes in a nice Bach hard case in good condition with moderate external wear.  A lively, free-blowing horn compared to a standard 37.  Sells new for $3,449, so save more than $1,600, and snatch this one up before the back-to-school rush!
