Bach TR200S Silver Intermediate Trumpet--Serviced, Nice!
One of several intermediate and professional trumpets we are offering for sale. This one is a Bach TR200S silver Bb intermediate trumpet. It is extremely similar to the Bach Omega, and about as close to a Strad as Bach has ever made without actually being a Strad: ML .459 bore, Strad-style valve block and thumb hook, Monel valve pistons, with the biggest difference being a two-piece rather than one-piece bell, but still hand hammered on a Strad bell mandrel. Unlike some boring TR200’s, this one does have the nice engraving on the bell. S/n 658XXX is too new for any published lists, but is likely 2013 or so. It is in excellent condition: silver plate about 99.5% with little if any wear, one small ding on the bell crook, but no other significant dents or repairs. Just through the shop where it was cleaned, polished, lubed, and had all new tuning slide O-rings, water key corks, and valve felts installed. All tuning slides free, valves are fast and smooth and quiet with excellent compression and showing little signs of use at all. Includes a bunch of extras: new ProTec slim profile straight mute, new ProTec finger protector, new ProTec microfiber cloth, cleaning rod, lyre, Blessing 5C mouthpiece, and a Bach Corp. 7C mouthpiece. Slide grease and oil are for local pickup only and cannot be shipped. All in an excellent Bach hard case. A great horn for your advancing student without spending almost two grand on a used Strad, and perfect for marching, concert, select and other band use.
