Bach VBS1 Professional Trumpet With Double Case!

 
Bet you’ve never heard of this one!  Bach Model VBS1 trumpet for sale.  This model is US made, but only available overseas, priced just slightly below a Bach Strad to compete with the cheap Yamahas that are available over there.  It has the same valve block and monel valves as a Stradivarius, with a two-piece bell which is made on the same Strad mandrel.  They added some nice features:  corrosion-resistant gold brass leadpipe, nickel outer slides, a third-valve water key, Yamaha-style stop screw, and made it a single-braced instrument, likely to improve the resonance.  It is marketed as a “special model,” not quite a Strad, far nicer than the intermediate Omega and TR200S, more of an introductory professional instrument. This one is in near-perfect condition:  Silver about 99.9% with no visible wear, two tiny, pinhead-sized dings that I can find.  All tuning slides free, valves are fast and smooth with little sign of use, and the compression is nearly new.  Just lubed, polished, and had new tuning slide O-rings, water key corks and valve felts installed.  S/n  697XXX is far too new for the published lists, but is likely 2014 or so.  Includes an excellent Bach double case with strap, which is also near perfect.  A beautiful trumpet for your advanced student or to add to your Bach arsenal, and likely the only one you’ll find this side of the Atlantic!
