Buffet BC20 Clarinet--Leather Pads, Gorgeous!

One of several professional clarinets we are offering for sale.  This is a Buffet Crampon Model BC20 in Bb.  It is a professional model that Buffet offered as an alternative to the R13 until the mid 80’s, and eventually evolved into the current RC model.  This one is a 1983 example, one of the last made, and the nicest one I have ever seen:  wood has no chips, cracks, or repairs; tenons are nice and square with no wobble between joints, plating is so near perfect that I can’t tell if it’s nickel or silver, though I’m tending toward silver.  Was very well overhauled within the last year or two, with white kid leather pads in excellent condition, and good materials used on the keys.  Includes a Brilhart Nilo Hovey mouthpiece in a B3 facing, a Buffet cap and ligature, and new ProTec mocrofiber cloth. Cork grease is for local pickup only and will not be shipped.  All in a the Buffet slimline pouchette case with a zippered case cover.  Plays extremely well with a warm tone, perhaps a bit sweeter than most R13’s, and better balanced across all the registers.  By far the nicest BC20 you’ll find online—perfect for someone wanting a bit more European-style instrument, or a professional horn without spending $2,000 on a similar R13!
