This is a Buffet Crampon E11 wooden Bb clarinet.  It is in exceptional condition:  grenadilla body has little wear at all and no chips, cracks or repairs. Tenons are in good condition with no wobble between joints. Plating about 99% with little if any wear at all. Unlike most of the used clarinets you may be looking at, this has had all new pads installed, using Ferree’s B17 de’Jur double-bladder, pressed-felt pads—a premium, long-lasting pad with a crisp feel and excellent seal.  Plays very nicely right out of the case, and should need nothing but occasional adjustments for years to come.  Key oil and cork grease are for local pickup only, but it does include a Yamaha 4C mouthpiece, ligature, two Vandoren reeds in 2.5 and 2.5, new SuperSlick chamois swab, and new ProTec microfiber cloth.  All in the original Buffet hard case in excellent condition with two keys.  The step-up clarinet most recommended by band directors for decades, perfect for your advancing student, and more than $2,000 less than Buffet’s current intermediate E12F clarinet!
