Buffet Crampon Evette & Schaeffer Intermediate Clarinet

One of several intermediate and professional clarinets we are offering for sale. This is a Buffet Crampon Evette & Schaeffer intermediate wood clarinet. Made in France with the pro Buffets, not in Germany. This would be equivalent to the later E13, is about as close to an R13 as Buffet ever made, and the K-series is generally considered to be the absolute best of the lot. This one is in excellent condition:  all grenadilla body with a nice, tight grain and no cracks or repairs. Tenons are square with no wobble between joints. Nickel plated about 99.5% with a little cloudiness but little plating wear if any at all. Just through the shop where it was bore oiled, had new tenon corks installed, and was repadded with all double bladder pads.  Note that this has an actual R13 bell, which greatly improves the tone and intonation. (We usually sell these alone for $300-$400.) Plays very nicely across the entire instrument with a dark tone and lots of projection. You'd have to be a pretty high level pro to tell the difference between this and the dozens of R13's we have for sale. Cork grease and key oil are for local pickup only and will not be shipped, but it does include a bunch of extras:  Precision mouthpiece (note that the first couple of photos show the wrong mouthpiece, but the later ones are correct,) mouthpiece cap, older Buffet ligature with the floating reed plate, pad saver, new DampIt humidifier, three Vandoren #3 reeds, lyre, stand, new SuperSlick chamois swab, and a new ProTec microfiber cloth. All in the original hard case in very good condition, and in a protective, moisture-resistant, lockable case cover with extra space, organizers, and even advertised as fireproof--though I wouldn't recommend testing that! An amazing, almost-pro instrument for your advancing student or as a backup to your main clarinet, and hundreds less than a similar R13!
