Buffet Crampon Pre-R13 professional Bb clarinet for sale.  This was Buffet’s professional clarinet prior to designing the better-known R13, and would be perfect for a first pro horn, a backup to your main instrument, or for an advanced student who’d rather put the $1,000 savings toward gas and books.  It is in exceptional condition:  wood has no chips, cracks, or repairs.  Tenons are still nice and square with no wobble between joints.  Professionally overhauled:  disassembled, cleaned, bore oiled, nickel keys polished beautifully with no noticeable wear at all, all new tenon corks and key corks, all new Kraus synthetic Omni pads installed--one of the best and longest-lasting pads you can buy.  Barrel logo is completely worn off or missing, so it may be a replacement barrel, but is the correct 66mm and works well with this horn.  Also includes a ligature and a Vandoren Profile 88 13-series mouthpiece in an M13 facing, which appears (and may be) new and unused—another $85 in value.  Cork grease is for local pickup only.  Hard case in good condition.  If you prefer a more modern case to the vintage one, we have several and can work something out.  An excellent, pro clarinet that will be perfect for your advanced student without spending $1,700 on a reconditioned R13 or wasting money on an intermediate horn!
