Buffet Crampon R13 Bb Clarinet

One of the best-priced Buffet Crampon R13 Bb clarinets we are offering for sale.  S/n 3612XX puts it at 1992.  It is in very good condition:  there is a thin glue line starting near the upper logo and extending down to the second trill, but I don’t see a crack inside the bore, and there are no signs of it in the tenon or any pins at all, so I think this was likely an open grain that someone filled years ago out of an abundance of caution.  It is practically invisible:  the prior owner did not even know it was there, and I only found it because I fluoresce all my clarinets.  Other than that, there are no chips or repairs.  Tenons are still nice and square with no wobble between joints.  Silver rather than nickel plate (a $526 upgrade!) around 99.9% with just a tiny spot on the register key as seen in the photos.  Appears to have been overhauled in the last couple of years, with all the pads still looking very new with no damage or hardening.  Just bore oiled and adjusted in our shop.  Plays very well with a balanced, dark tone and a smooth feel to the keywork.  Includes the Buffet pouchette case with a zippered case cover.  Sells new for $4,493.26, so save more than $2,500, and snatch this one up just in time for the new school year!
