Buffet Crampon R13 Bb Clarinet In Silver!

One of several Buffet Crampon clarinets we are offering for sale.  This one is an R13 in Bb, silver plated, with a serial of 5999XX which is too new for the published lists, but is likely about 2009.  We are selling this for hundreds less than most silver R13’s from this time period due to two cracks in the upper joint—both of which have been sealed so nicely that you would never know they were there if we hadn’t told you.  The clarinet has just been through the shop where it was cleaned, bore oiled, polished, and had all new pads installed—Ferree’s premium cork on the upper, and Ferree’s B17 de’Jur double-bladder, pressed-felt on the lower.  It plays beautifully with a big, bold tone and good intonation across all registers. Silver plating about 99.9% with little if any wear at all.   Includes a Vandoren 5RV Lyre mouthpiece, and Buffet cap and ligature.  Cork grease is for local pickup only and will not be shipped.  Comes in an extremely nice Buffet pouchette case with zippered cover and strap.  Sells new for $4,420 including the $500 silver upgrade.  A great R13 for your advanced student, hobbyist, or as a backup to your main instrument at hundreds less than comparable, newer, overhauled instruments, and at more than $3,000 less than new!
