Buffet Crampon R13 Bb Clarinet W/ New Valentino Masters' Pads

One of several professional clarinets we are offering for sale.  This is a Buffet Crampon R13 Bb clarinet in nickel plate.  S/n 1237XX makes it 1971—right in the middle of Buffet Golden Era of production.  The wood is a nice, tight-grained billet of grenadilla with no chips, cracks, or repairs.  Plating is about 95% with some wear on some posts and some commonly-used keys as seen in the photos.  Just through the shop where it was cleaned, bore oiled, and had all new Valentino black Masters’ Series pads installed—one of the longest-lasting and most reliable pads you can get.  A very warm, balanced instrument across the entire horn, with a soft feel to the key work and good projection.  Includes a Vandore B45 mouthpiece, cap, ligature, new Leblanc bore oiling swab, and a new Buffet swab.  Holton key oil and cork grease are for local pickup only and will not be shipped.  All in the nice, period, padded case with just minor cosmetic wear.  Sells new for $3,973.46.
