Buffet Crampon R13 Clarinet--New Cork Upper, Synthetic Pads Lower

One of the less expensive Buffet Crampon R13 Bb clarinets we are offering for sale. S/n 462XXX is far too new for the published lists, but will be either 1998 or 1998.  It is in very good condition:  wood has no chips, cracks or repairs; tenons are nice and square with no wobble; nickel plating about 95% with wear on some of the keys as seen in the photos.  It still polishes up to be a great-looking horn as you can see.  We were about to do a complete overhaul on this, but the synthetic pads are so new and seal perfectly, so we decided to replace only the cork pads with new premium Ferree’s corks.  Bore oiled, center tenon cork replaced, adjusted.  Plays delightfully with a big, open tone—a bit brighter and punchier than some of our other R13’s, but this of course will be greatly affected by your mouthpiece rig.  Key oil and cork grease are for local pickup only, but it does include a great cotton swab, microfiber polishing cloth, mouthpiece, cap, and what looks like a BG Revelation or Super Revelation ligature.  All in a brand new ProTec ProPak case with strap.  A great-playing horn in great condition at almost $2,500 less than new, and hundreds less than some of our other R13’s!
