Buffet Crampon R13A Clarinet

One of several professional and intermediate A clarinets we are offering for sale.  This is a Buffet Crampon R13A clarinet.  S/n 438XXX is far too new for the published lists, but it will be 1998 or 1997.  It is in exceptional condition:  wood has no chips, cracks or repairs and very little wear at all. Nickel plating about 99% intact with a little wear on one ring on the upper joint as seen in the photos.  It is a beautiful instrument.  Cork pads are all in very good condition and we felt no need to replace them all and mark the price up several hundred dollars, but we did install all new Valentino Master’s Series pads for the four largest—one of the quietest and longest-lasting pads available.  Bore oiled and adjusted, plays very nicely across the entire instrument and should do so for years to come.  Barrel is a 650.  Key oil and cork grease are for local pickup only, but it does include the new SuperSlick swab and a nearly-new ProTec double case with strap.  Sells new for $4,525, so snatch this one up in time for the new school year, and save almost $2,000!
