F. Loree C+3 Conservatory Oboe W/ 3rd Octave Key!

One of several professional oboes we are offering for sale.  This is an F. Loree C+3 full-conservatory oboe.  Includes a full set of keywork:  left F, F-resonance, split D/D# trill, low Bb and low Bb vent, articulated C#, and even the third octave key!  It is in exceptional condition:  one ¼” hairline crack in the lower socket right through the logo which has been well repaired, is supported by the tenon ring, and will never be a problem.  No other chips, cracks, repairs, or bore damage. Silver plate about 99.9% with little if any wear at all.  Pads are exceptionally new and it appears to have been overhauled within the last year or so with cork pads on the upper and the lower in a combination of cork and white kid leather.  Just through the shop where it was bore oiled and adjusted.  Will play marvelously right out of the case on pickup, may need very minor adjustment if we’re shipping it, depending on how many bumps the delivery truck hits.  Key oil and cork grease are for local pickup only and will not be shipped, but it does include a very classy wood reed holder with one reed, and a brand new silk swab.  Currently in a Marigaux slim pochette case with a brand new Kaces KUXE series weather-resistance cover with strap, padding, and lots of external, zippered storage.  (That alone is a $78 value.)  We also have ProTec soft and hard cases separately if you prefer to upgrade.  The perfect oboe to take you through conservatory and far into your career!  Sells new for $8,000-$9,000 depending on the shop, so save $4,000 or more, and snatch this one up before the back-to-school rush!
