F. Loree Full Conservatory Oboe W/ New Case And Bag

One of several professional oboes we are offering for sale. This is a Loree full conservatory model, s/n ETxx, roughly 1979.  It is in very good condition:  Silver plate about 99% with little if any wear as seen in the photos. One short crack in the usual place in the upper joint which was sealed and pinned years ago and is completely hidden under the keys.  In fact, the prior owner played it for years and never knew the repair had been done.  No scratches or damage to the bore.  Tenon corks are in good condition and sealing tightly.  Pads are in good condition and our oboe specialist is scheduling three months out, so we decided just to service this one locally. It was polished and bore oiled, had the two lowest pads replaced, key materials replaced as needed, and was regulated it into excellent playing condition. The upper joint actually registers a flat zero on the leak detector.  I'm having a little trouble flipping to the octaves consistently, but I'm not an oboist and have the same trouble on most oboes, so I think it's just me or my reed.  Should play perfectly on pickup, will most likely need minor adjustments if you're having it shipped.  Key oil and cork grease are for local pickup only and will not be shipped, but it does include a new Gem silk swab, new ProTec microfiber cloth, the two tenon caps (which are not in the photos,) and a brand-new ProTec Microzip case.  All in a brand-new, $80 Kaces LUXE Series padded case cover giving you excellent weather resistance, a carrying strap, and tons of storage and padding.  The most sought-after professional oboe for decades, and at thousands less than new!
