Fox 300 Oboe WITH Third Octave Key--Just Serviced

One of several oboes we are offering for sale. This one is a Fox 300 semi-professional model with full-conservatory keywork including the left F, low Bb vent, split D, F# key tab, extra trills, F-resonance, and even the third octave key. S/n 193XX makes it a relatively newer horn at 2002, and it is excellent condition as expected:  no chips, cracks, or bore damage, near-perfect silver plating, pads in excellent condition.  Just through the shop where it was adjusted and brought into excellent plating condition, with the caveat that oboes hate airplanes and FedEx trucks, and almost always need minor adjustment after shipping—hence the included screwdriver.  (If you are local, it’s ready to go.) Also includes a reed case and one reed.  Cork grease is for local pickup only and will not be shipped.  Comes in a hard case in good condition, with an additional Cavallaro padded cover—probably the best case cover you can get.  Sells new for $6,690 at the online discounters, so save more than $3,000, and snatch this one up before the back-to-conservatory rush!
