This is a Fox 450, s/n 26XXX, 2008.  It is in excellent condition:  grenadilla lower and bell for exceptional tone and warmth, with a crack-resistance upper for some peace of mind and stability.  No chips, cracks, repairs or bore damage.  Silver plate about 99% with little if any wear at all.  While we usually overhaul all our oboes, this one is actually just back from service by Ko Kaiden—a premier double reed specialist—and plays exceptionally well just as it is.  Full-conservatory keywork including the left F, split D/D# trill, other extra trills, banana key, articulated C#, F-resonance, low Bb and Bb vent, and even the third octave key!  Cork grease is for local pickup only and will not be shipped, but it does Include a brand new silk swab.  Original hard case with some external wear, and best of all—a brand new, $79 Kaces LUXE series weather-resistant padded cover with strap, lots of zippered storage compartments, and bunches of swag!  MSRP $9,500, usually sells brand new for about $7,200, so save more than $3,000, and snatch up one of the best near-professional oboes you can get serviced by one of the best oboe specialists in the States!
