Fox Renard 333 Protégé oboe.  Very good condition:  minor wear and scratches on the body, but no chips, cracks, or bore damage.  Plating about 99% with no significant wear at all.  Just through the local shop in September 2022, where it had a few pads replaced, and was regulated and brought up into excellent playing condition.  (Note that oboes hate FedEx trucks and bumpy roads, and often need adjustment after shipping.)  Includes a ProTec case in good condition.  S/n 183XX with the last two digits rubbed out and impossible to read, roughly 2001-2002.  A huge step up from the beginner oboe you’ve been renting, with extra keys including the low Bb, F# key tab, F-resonance key, extra trills, and the all-important left F key which is missing on many of the older 333’s you might see for sale.  Sells new for $3,800 at the online discounter, so snatch up the perfect oboe for your advancing student, and save more than $2,000!
