Gorgeous Yamaha Custom Silver Trumpet 8335S

One of several professional trumpets we are offering for sale.  This is a Yamaha Custom YTR-8335S silver trumpet in Bb.  It is exactly the same as a Xeno 8335S, but with a traditionally-made bell rather than laser welded.  (For some perspective on whether or not that actually matters, every other professional trumpet in the universe uses a traditionally-made bell!)  This is Yamaha’s all-around workhorse designed to compete with the Bach Stradivarius 180S37 and to excel in pretty much any musical setting:  lead, solo, ensemble, orchestral, etc.  It is in excellent condition:  silver about 99.9% with little if any wear at all, and perhaps 3-4 tiny dings that you have to go looking for.  Unlike most of the horns you are looking at online, this one is just through the shop where it was chem cleaned, detergent cleaned, lubed, polished, and had all new water key corks, piston felts, and tuning slide O-rings installed.  Valves are fast and smooth and look almost new.  All tuning slides are free and show excellent compression.  Note that this horn is oiled with SYNTHETIC valve oil (Hetman #1), and you must use the same or thoroughly clean the pistons and casings prior to switching to a petroleum-based product.  Includes Bach 5C and Bach 10.5C mouthpieces, a large Yamaha silver cloth, and a cleaning snake.  Slide grease and Yamaha silver polish are for local pickup only and will not be shipped.  Includes the original hard case in excellent condition, with one latch which has to be latched with some attention, but stays latched securely once there.  An exceptional horn in exceptional condition—perfect for your student in marching, concert, or select bands, and just in time for Christmas!
