Henri Selmer France Depose English Horn

We are pleased to offer for sale this vintage Henri Selmer Paris Depose English Horn.  It is in very good condition:  one crack in the upper joint that was beautifully sealed and pinned years ago.  It appears to terminate on each end at two tone holes, so it will not spread further.  It does not appear to reach all the way to the bocal well, and there is no sign of it inside the bore.  No other chips or cracks.  Original metal-capped tenons and sockets to prevent other cracking.  Silver plate about 99.5% with minor scratches but no real wear at all.  Exceptional artist restoration about five years ago with very little play time since, and all pads look almost new.  Just through the shop where it was cleaned, bore oiled, and adjusted.  Upper joint seals to 0.2 on the Magnehelic, and lower to 2.1 with light finger pressure or about 1.5 with a little heavier hand.  Bocal is unmarked, likely not original, and you probably have your favorite anyway.  S/n 030XX.  Comes in the original case which is in excellent condition, as well as the Naugahyde, zippered case cover.  Perfect for your first professional Cor Anglais or as a backup to your main instrument, and at more than $3,000 less than most intermediate, new horns!
