Inexpensive Buffet Crampon R13 Clarinet

One of the least expensive Buffet Crampon R13 Bb clarinets we are offering for sale.  This is a vintage horn in silver plate, s/n 2645XX, 1984.  The bell had a hairline crack which is repaired so well that I can’t even find it to photograph it.  Other than that, the wood is in good condition with no other chips or cracks.  Silver plating has some moderate wear on the posts and some of the more commonly used keys, but is still a good-looking, bright and shiny horn as you can see from the photos.  (Silver is also an extra $520 compared to nickel.)  Appears to have been overhauled maybe a couple years ago and used very little since then.  Pads are all in good condition and seal very well.  Just through the shop where it was bore oiled and adjusted.  All tenon corks in good condition.  Plays very well with a tight, focused, balanced tone.  Includes a Vandoren Serie 13 mouthpiece in an M13 facing, Buffet cap, and D. Bonade inverted ligature.  Cork grease is for local pickup only and will not be shipped.  All in a slimline Buffet pouchette case with zippered cover.  One strap hood is missing from the cover, but two others remain, so a strap can still be used.  A great choice for your first professional clarinet, and a great choice for your advancing student without spending $2,000.
