Inexpensive Silver Plate Buffet R13 Clarinet

One of the least expensive Buffet Crampon clarinets we are offering for sale.  This one is a Bb R13 in silver, s/n 361XXX, a 1998 horn.  Silver plate is about a $512 upgrade over nickel, and this one is about 95% intact with very little wear on most of the cups, spatula keys, and posts, but significant wear on the register key and the upper rings, so we’ve marked it down quite a bit for that.  The rest of the horn is excellent:  wood has no chips, cracks or repairs, just disassembled, cleaned, bore oiled, hand polished, and had all new Ferree’s B17 de’Jur double-bladder, pressed-felt pads installed.  It plays very nicely in all registers with a quiet action and warm tone.  Includes a Vandoren 5RV Lyre mouthpiece, Buffet cap and ligature, and new swab. Key oil and cork grease are for local pickup only and will not be shipped.  Comes in the slim pouchette case in good condition with a worn but intact leather handle, and a very nice zippered cover.  Sells new right now for $4,427, and we’re letting this one go for more than $2,700 savings!
