Kanstul Model 925S Silver Flugelhorn With Trigger

One of several professional flugelhorns we are offering for sale.  This is a Kanstul model 925S Bb flugel with trigger.  It is in very good condition:  silver plate about 99.9% with little if any wear, but a couple of small dents and dings mostly around the bell bow as seen in the photos.  Your tech could probably make it look nearly new without too much trouble.  An absolute pro horn:  .415” bore, 6” hand-hammered one-piece bell, Amado water keys, hand-lapped pistons—almost an exact copy of the Besson Brevete they made in the 80’s.  Takes a French taper mouthpiece.  Valves are fast and smooth and quiet and show very little wear.Leadpipe and all tuning slides free, trigger smooth and fast.  Comes in a nearly-new ProTec case, but other case options are available, if you prefer a double, triple, or no case at all.  MSRP $3,520 in 2019 when it was last offered before Kanstul closed, and it typically sold for about $2,799 when it was available.  A great-playing, large-bore flugel which is perfect for trumpet doublers!
