Rigoutat Professional Oboe W/ 3rd Octave Key--Serviced!

One of several oboes we are offering for sale. This one is a Rigoutat professional model.  It is in excellent condition:  one short crack in the upper joint in the usual area which was repaired long ago and should never be a problem, and we also sealed a very short crack in the bell tenon—again, nonweightbearing due to the metal tenon insert, and not going anywhere, ever.  No bore damage or other cracks.  Full repad not long ago, and just further cleaned, oiled, and adjusted in May, 2023 with some other minor repairs and pad replacements.  Note this work was done by the owner of a general repair shop rather than an oboe specialist.  He’s says it plays well for him, but depending on how advanced a player you are and how bumpy the FedEx truck is, the oboe might require some additional tweaking on arrival. This is a full-conservatory model with the exception of the split D/D# trill, and includes the low Bb, Bb vent, left F, F-resonance key, C# trill, and even the third octave key!  Comes in a newer Gator case with strap.  An excellent, French-made oboe for your advancing student or school inventory, and at less than the cost of most new, beginner instruments!
