Very nice Rigoutat professional wooden oboe for sale. Full conservatory keywork including the extra trills, split D-D#, low Bb and low Bb vent, Left F, semi-automatic octave mechanism, F-resonance key and more. Very good condition: lower joint has a very short crack at the socket as seen in the photos, permanently sealed and no longer an issue. Wood has no other cracks or chips, bore is clean with no damage. Silver plate about 99% with no noticeable wear at all. It was just disassembled, cleaned, bore oiled, and lubed, and adjusted by another shop who—bluntly—did a bad job on the final setup, and doesn’t do our oboes any more. The pads are all in very good condition, but there are several small leaks, and it will need a better oboe tech to go over it and make it play properly. I just dropped the price $500, and hopefully you have a good tech in your area. Comes in the original case and what I believe is an Altieri case cover, though it is unmarked—itself a $160 value. An excellent, professional oboe that will serve well during your conservatory years, or even for your advancing high school student, and at less than the cost of a new intermediate instrument!
