Silver Buffet Crampon R13 Bb Clarinet--Ferree's Overhaul, 1994, Nice!

One of several Buffet Crampon clarinets we are offering for sale.  This one is a Bb R13 in silver (not nickel) plate, s/n 3915XX, 1994.  It is in excellent condition:  bell has a repaired, hairline crack which was sealed so nicely that you’d never have known it was there if we hadn’t disclosed it; other than that, no chips, cracks or repairs, tenons are nice and square with no wobble between joints, silver plate about 99.9% with little if any wear at all.  Just through the shop where it was cleaned and bore oiled, had all new Ferree’s de’Jur double-bladder, pressed-felt pads installed, and was regulated and brought into delightful playing condition.  This is a warm, balanced instrument with a compact, focused sound and good intonation across all registers.  Includes a Vandoren B40 mouthpiece, Buffet ligature, and Yamaha cap.  Comes in a slim, Buffet pouchette case with a near-perfect zippered case cover and strap.  Sells new for $3,975, and the silver is another $520 upgrade on top of that.  So . . . snatch up one of the nicest horns you’ll find, and save over $2,500!
