Vintage 1973 Buffet Crampon R13 Clarinet--Serviced & Gorgeous

One of several professional clarinets we are offering for sale. This is a Buffet Crampon R13 Bb clarinet in silver plate.  S/n 142XXX makes this 1973—right in the sweet spot of Buffet’s Golden Era.  It is in excellent condition:  wood body has no chips, cracks or repairs and squared tenons with no wobble between joints.  Silver plated rather than nickel (currently a $627 upgrade!) about98% with just a little bit of wear mostly on the one Ab key.  A gorgeous horn as you can see in the photos.  This was overhauled not long before we acquired it—all pads and tenon corks are still in excellent condition and sealing without issues.  Just through our shop where it had some very minor adjustments.  Plays delightfully from top to bottom with a moderately dark tone and an open, free-blowing feel.  Key oil and cork grease are for local pickup only, but it does include a Buffet 120V F2A mouthpiece, Buffet cap and ligature (also silver plate,) new ProTec microfiber cloth, and new SuperSlick chamois swab.  All in the slim Buffet pochette case with zippered case cover.  Sells new for $4,552 at M&A, so snatch up a gorgeous horn in exceptional condition from one of the most sought-after decades ever, and still save more than $2,400!
