Yamaha Xeno 8335 Bb Trumpet!

 
One of several professional trumpets we are offering for sale.  This is a Yamaha Xeno YTR-8335 Bb trumpet in lacquer.  Designed to compete with Bach’s Model 37 Stradivarius, this horn is perfect for pretty much every musical setting:  marching, concert, orchestra, solo work, and whatever else you can throw at it.  It is in excellent condition:  finish is about 95% with almost no wear at all except under the leadpipe as seen in the photos where it is very hard to see.  Perhaps a very ting ding or mark here or there, but no significant dents or damage and no signs of repair or major dent work.  Appears to have been cleaned and serviced very recently so we needed to do very little to this one:  clean interior, excellent piston felts and water key corks that there was no need to replace.  All tuning slides are free with new O-rings installed.  Valves are fast and smooth and quiet with exceptional compression—the tuning slides pop almost all the way out under pressure.  Note that this horn is oiled with SYNTHETIC oil, and you should use the same or thoroughly clean the pistons and casings prior to switching to a standard oil.  Plays great from top to bottom with very good slotting and excellent projection.  Slide gel is for local pickup only and will not be shipped, but it does include a Bach 7C mouthpiece, new ProTec microfiber cloth, and new ProTec slim profile straight mute.  All in the original Yamaha Custom Xeno hard case with lots of wear to the leather as seen in the photos, but structurally sound and even with both keys still present!  The perfect trumpet for your advanced student, and just in time for Christmas!
