Yamaha Xeno II 8335RSII Silver Trumpet W/ Reversed Leadpipe

One of the nicest professional trumpets we are offering for sale.  This is a Yamaha Xeno II model YTR-8335RSII. This is the standard Xeno but with the upgraded, reversed leadpipe for decreased resistance and improved control and response. This is by far the best Xeno Yamaha ever made, with an easily accessible upper register and dead-on slotting. Note also that this is a Gen II Xeno, with the redesigned bell taper, lighter weight valve cluster, and other improvements that result in a great core of sound with excellent projection. It is in exceptional condition:  a small spot of wear on the first valve from someone’s thumb, but completely hidden by the included valve guard.  A small circle where the prior owner removed one of the two slots for the third-valve stop screw.  Other than that, practically perfect with just the tiniest imperfections if you look crazy close.  It is absolutely stunning.   All tuning slides are free, valves are fast with like new compression—actually measuring a perfect “zero” on the leak detector. Just through the shop where it was chem cleaned, detergent cleaned, lubed, polished, and had all new piston felts, tuning slide O-rings, and water key cork installed. Al Cass valve oil and tuning slide grease are for local pickup only and will not be shipped, but it does include a brand new ProTec leather finger protector, new ProTec microfiber cloth, and the black valve guard.  All in the original Yamaha Custom Xeno double case with room for your C trumpet, practice horn, or bunches of mutes, stands and other accessories.  A great trumpet for your advanced student, hard to find in a Gen II in this condition, and at about $1,500 less than brand new!
