Yamaha Xeno II 8335SII Silver Trumpet For Sale!

One of several professional trumpets we are offering for sale.  This is a Yamaha Xeno II YTR-8335SII silver Bb trumpet for sale. This is Yamaha’s equivalent to the Bach 37:  an all-around workhouse that does everything well, suitable for concert, marching, ensemble and solo work. It is in excellent condition: silver plate about 99% with little if any wear at all and just small, scattered marks and imperfections from past minor dent removal.  It is a great-looking horn as seen in the photos.  Unlike most of the trumpets you may be looking at, this one is just through the shop in June 2025 where it was chem cleaned, detergent cleaned, lubed, polished, and had all new water key corks, tuning slide O-rings and piston felts installed.  All tuning slides free. The little pull knob is missing off the second-valve tuning slide, but most people just turn it around backward so you don't see it.Valves are fast, smooth and quiet with such good compression that the 1st and 3rd slide pop out almost all the way when you insert them. This has been oiled with SYNTHETIC valve oil, so you must use the same or thoroughly clean the pistons and casings prior to switching. Note that this is a Gen 2 horn, with the improved bell design, the thinner valve casings and pistons, and a few other redesigns which greatly improves resistance, tonal core and slotting compared to the earlier Xenos.  Valve oil and tuning slide grease are for local pickup only, but it does include a Yamaha 16C4 mouthpiece, new ProTec microfiber cloth, new ProTec leather finger guard, and a second cloth.  All in the new-style Yamaha Custom Xeno case with shoulder strap, integrated backpack straps and zippered external pocket.  (The magnet which holds the flap down is missing, but the flap serves no real purpose.) An exceptional horn in the best condition you’ll ever see on the used market, and more than $1,000 less than brand new!
