1970's Bach Stradivarius 180S37 Silver Trumpet

One of several professional trumpets we are offering for sale. This is a Bach Stradivarius 180S37 silver trumpet in Bb. S/n 151XXX makes this roughly 1979, but it looks like a freaking time capsule: silver plating is about 99.9% with just the tiniest bit of wear hidden high on one of the valve casings were it's hard to see, perhaps just a very few, very tiny scratches and imperfection, but no dents, dings, signs of repair, or signs of major dent work. Valves are fast and smooth and quiet, show little wear at all and are still holding excellent compression. All tuning slides are free including the third-valve dump slide. Best of all, it is just through the shop in September, 2026 where it was disassembled, chem cleaned, detergent cleaned, lubed, oiled and had all new tuning slide O-rings, piston felts and water key cork installed. Plays very nicely with an easily accessible upper register and tight slotting. Valve oil and tuning slide grease are for local pickup only and will not be shipped, but it does include a new ProTec microfiber cloth, new ProTec leather finger protector, and a Jo-Ral straight mute. All in what is likely the original case with minor wear but structurally solid. A great Strad from a great period in the nicest condition you'll ever find, and still about $2,000 less than new!
