1980 Buffet Crampon R13 Bb Clarinet W/ New Valentino Master's Pads

One of several professional clarinets we are offering for sale. This is a Buffet Crampon R13 clarinet in Bb.  S/n 204XXX makes this a nice, vintage 1980 instrument.  It is in excellent condition:  wood is a nice, well aged billet of grenadilla with a tight grain and no chips, cracks or repairs. Tenons are square with no wobble between joints.  Nickel plating about 97% with just a little wear as seen in the photos.  Best of all, this has just been through the shop where it was bore oiled, had all new Valentino Master’s Series synthetic pads installed, and was adjusted and brought up into marvelous playing condition.  Note that while we do not know the entire history of this horn, we used a petroleum-based bore oil rather than sweet almond oil for those folks who may be concerned about nut allergies.  Dark tone with excellent intonation and projection, and a soft, even feel to the key work.  Key oil and cork grease are for local pickup only, but it does include a new ProTec microfiber cloth, the slim pochette case, and zippered cover.  An excellent clarinet from a excellent period in excellent condition, and at about half the cost of new!
