1986 Buffet Crampon R13 Bb Clarinet--Cork Overhaul!

One of several Buffet Crampon clarinets we are offering for sale. This is an R13 Bb horn in silver plate. S/n 278XXX makes it 1986, and it is in exceptional condition:  wood has no chips, cracks or repairs; tenons have very little wear with no wobble between joints; plating about 99.5% with little if any wear at all—and note that silver is a $520 upgrade over the more common nickel plate.  Just through the shop where it was bore oiled and had all new pads installed, with both upper and lower joints in a combination of Ferree’s premium cork and Ferree’s B17 de’Jur double-bladder, pressed-felt.  A clean, crisp keywork with little to no lost motion between keys.  Plays with a full, balanced tone across all registers, with excellent projection and warmth.  Includes a new Conn-Selmer swab, and comes in the slim pochette case with zippered cover.  Sells new at WWBW for a whopping $4,768, so save about $3,000, and snatch up one of the nicest silver R13’s on the used market!
