1989 Buffet Crampon R13 Bb Clarinet W/ All New Pads!

One of several professional clarinets we are offering for sale.  This is a Buffet Crampon R13 Bb clarinet in silver plate.  S/n 315XXX makes it 1989, and it looks like it has hardly been played:  wood is a nice billet of aged grenadilla with no chips, cracks or repairs and unworn tenons with no wobble between joints.  Plating is about 99.5% with little if any wear at all, and note that this is silver rather than nickel--a $350 upgrade vs. the more common nickel plate.  Just through the shop where it was cleaned, bore oiled, hand polished, lubed, had the middle tenon cork replaced, and had all new pads installed--the upper in cork and Ferree's B17 de'Jur double bladder, pressed felt pads, and the lower in Valentino Master's Series synthetic.  The result is a superbly playing instrument with a soft, easy-to-play feel and a big, open tone.  Cork grease and key oil are for local pickup only and will not be shipped, but it does include a new SuperSlick chamois swab, new ProTec microfiber cloth, and the slimline pochette case with zippered covered.  Sells new at M&A for a whopping $4,552, so save about $2,500, and snatch up this near-perfect one before the back-to-school rush!
