1998 Buffet Crampon R13 Bb Clarinet In Silver Plate

One of several professional clarinets we are offering for sale.  This is a Buffet Crampon R13 Bb clarinet in silver.  S/n 443XXX is far too new for the published lists, but is 1998.  It is in excellent condition:  wood has no chips, cracks or repairs and good tenons with no wobble between joints.  Silver plated rather than nickel (a $350 upgrade!) about 98% with a little wear mostly tucked into the corners and posts where it’s hard to see.  Unlike most of the clarinets you may be looking at this one has just been through the shop where it was disassembled, cleaned, bore oiled, hand polished, lubed, and overhauled with all new tenon corks and new Ferree’s B17 de’Jur double-bladder, pressed-felt pads and Ferree’s premium cork pads.  Plays delightfully from top to bottom with an open feel, crisp action and a bold, dark tone.  Cork grease and key oil are for local pickup only, but it does include a new ProTec microfiber cloth and new SuperSlick chamois swab.  All in a brand new Kaces zippered case with external pockets and backpack strap.  Sells new for a whopping $4,552 at M&A, so save more than $2,500 and snatch up one of the newest and nicest you’ll find on the used market!
