1998 Fox Renard 330 Artist Oboe

One of several intermediate and professional oboes we are offering for sale. This is a Fox Renard 330 Artist Model. S/n 151XX makes it 1998. It is in excellent condition. The silver plating is about 99% with little if any wear at all. There are no chips, cracks, or bore damage, but if you look super closely you can see that the thumb rest was apparently broken off and replaced at one time and that area covered with Jet Magic and buffed to blend it in. The prior owners actually played it for ten years and had never even noticed. Includes many keys not found on beginner and some intermediate oboes:  articulated C#, C# trill, low Bb, F-resonance key, and the all-important left F key. Just through the shop in September, 2026 where it had a couple pads and the lower tenon cork installed and was very nicely regulated into exceptional playing condition. Plays very easily with a light touch to the keywork across the entire instrument. Key oil and cork grease are for local pickup only and will not be shipped, but it does include a new silk swab, new ProTec microfiber cloth, and an excellent zippered case with backpack straps and lots of zippered external pockets. The newest version of the 330 sells new at the "discount" M&A for $4,870, so snatch this one up before the Christmas rush and save more than $2,500!
