2006 Buffet Crampon R13 Bb Clarinet W/ New Valentino Pads!

One of several intermediate and professional clarinets we are offering for sale.  This is a Buffet Crampon R13 Bb clarinet.  S/n 558XXX is too new for the published list but dates to 2006.  It is in exceptional condition: wood body has a nice, tight grain and no chips, cracks or repairs.  Nickel plating about 99% with just a little bit of wear mostly on the rings as seen in the photos.  Tenons are nice and square with no wobble between joints.  And unlike most of the clarinets you may be looking at elsewhere, this one has just been through the shop where it was bore oiled, lubed, polished, and had all new Valentino synthetic pads installed—one of the quietest, most reliable pads available.  Plays nicely across all registers with little resistance, a soft feel to the keywork, and a huge, dark tone.  Key oil, bore oile and cork grease are for local pickup only and will not be shipped, but it does include the silk swab, adjustable thumb rest with new pad, and the deluxe, leather attache case with gold hardware.  Sells new at M&A for a whopping $3,925—and that’s on sale.  So, snatch up a just-serviced, newer horn in excellent plating condition, and save more than $2,000!
