2006 Buffet Crampon R13 Clarinet--Just Serviced!

One of several professional clarinets we are offering for sale. This is a Buffet Crampon R13 Bb clarinet. S/n 566XXX is too new for the published lists, but is 2006. It is in excellent condition: wood body has no cracks, chips or repairs and squared tenons with no wobble between joints. Pretty sure it’s nickel plated but it’s so highly polished that it’s hard to be certain, with some wear on the rings as seen in the photos. While we usually overhaul all our clarinets, the upper joint on this was last done in cork pads which are still in excellent condition, so we chose just to replace the one non-cork pad and not charge the buyer for an unneeded repair. We did completely redo the lower joint in a combination of Ferree’s premium, double-bladder, pressed-felt pads and Ferree’s premium cork pads. The instrument plays delightfully in all ranges with an open feel, a light touch and a crisp, even feel to the keywork. Key oil and cork grease are for local pickup only and will not be shipped, but it does include a new ProTec microfiber cloth, bore swab, adjustable thumb rest, Humistat hygrometer and humidifier, and two Gonzalez 3.5 reeds. All in the deluxe, black leather attache case with gold hardware. A very recent R13 in great condition and ready to play at more than $2,000 less than new!
