Bach Omega Silver Intermediate Trumpet--Chem Cleaned & Serviced

One of several intermediate and professional trumpets we are offering for sale. This is a Bach Omega Bb step-up trumpet. Not to be confused with the later, student Omegas with the oval emblem, these are about as close to a Stradivarius as Bach ever made, using the same bore and same valve block, with the biggest difference being the two-piece rather than one-piece bell. It is almost exactly the same as the Bach TR200S we have listed, with the addition of Strad-style stop rod, water keys, and tuning slide. When I worked in big box retail, these were allegedly discontinued by Bach because they sold too well and people quit buying Strads. This one is in very good condition:  silver plating about 95% intact with a little bit of wear as seen in the photos and a few places where it is a bit dull instead of bright and shiny. A few very small dings and imperfections from past dent removal but no major dents or signs of major repairs. It is still a great-looking horn that will wow the judges during your student's solo. Best of all--unlike most of the used trumpets you might be looking at, this one has just been through the shop where it was disassembled, chem cleaned, detergent cleaned, lubed, polished, and had all new piston felts, water key corks, tuning slide O-rings and stop rod bumper and nuts installed. Valves are fast and smooth with good compression and all the tuning slides are free. Plays very well right out of the case. Tuning slide grease and valve oil are for local pickup only and will not be shipped, but it does include a 7C mouthpiece, new ProTec microfiber cloth, a new ProTec leather finger protector, an unmarked straight mute, and a $65 Leblanc Alessi Vacchiano Mello Mute (usually known as a wow-wow mute.) All in the original hard case with lots of external wear but structurally in very good condition. One of the most sought-after intermediate trumpets ever made, and about $2,000 less than a Strad!
