Bach Stradivarius 18043 Trumpet--Chem Cleaned & Serviced!

One of several professional trumpets we are offering for sale.  This is a Bach Stradivarius 18043 Bb trumpet in lacquer.  S/n 637XXX is far too new for the published lists, but 2008 will be very close.  This is the version with the 43 bell and #25 leadpipe, giving you a much warmer, centered tone with great projection compared to the standard 37 Strads.  This being lacquer rather than silver, it’s even a bit warmer than most!  It is in excellent condition:  lacquer about 99% intact with just a little wear where the left fingers contact the bell and casing as seen in the photos, and very few, very tiny imperfections if you look very closely.  It is a great-looking instrument as you can see from the photos.  Best of all, unlike most of the trumpets you might be looking at, this one is just through the shop where it was chem cleaned, detergent cleaned, lubed, polished, and had all new tuning slide O-rings, stop rod bumper and nuts, water key cork and piston felts installed.  Valves are fast and smooth with no problems and excellent compression.  All tuning slides are free including the third-valve dump slide which is stuck on most used Strads. Comes in the zippered Bach hard case which is also in very good condition.    A great horn for marching band, symphonic band, and anywhere else you want a full, dark tone that reaches the back of the room!
