Bach Stradivarius 18043T Brass/Lacquer Trumpet
One of several professional trumpet we are offering for sale. This is a Bach Stradivarius 18043T—a hard-to-find version in brass lacquer and nickel plate with a first-valve trigger 43 bell taper. It is in excellent condtiion: lacquer about 99.5% with some light wear and scratches mostly along the left side of the bell as seen in the photos, but no significant lacquer or plating loss. Very small dings and imperfections left over from past dent removal, but so small that you really have to go looking for them. It is truly a great-looking horn. Clean interior, and just through the shop where it was polished, lubed, and had all new tuning slide O-rings, piston felts, water key cork, and stop rod bumper and nuts installed. Valves are fast and smooth with very good compression. All tuning slides are free including the third-valve dump slide, and the trigger works with no issues. Tuning slide grease and valve oil are for local pickup only and will not be shipped, but it does include an 11 mouthpiece and what is likely the original Bach hard case in good condition with just normal wear. A great-playing horn in great condition—a bit warmer with more projection than most Strads due to that 43 bell and lacquer finish—and about $2,000 less than new if you could even get one!
