Bach Stradivarius 180S37 Silver Trumpet For Sale

One of several professional trumpets we are offering for sale.  This is a Bach Stradivarius 180S37 Bb horn.  It is in excellent condition:  silver plate about 99% with a little wear mostly at the bottom of the valves where it looks like someone used one of those accursed Gutter Guards.  This is covered by the included black leather valve guard.  Extremely small marks left over from past dent repairs, but no significant dents or dings currently.  It’s a great-looking horn as you can see in the photos.  Unlike most of the trumpets you may be looking at, this was just through the shop where it was chem cleaned, detergent cleaned, lubed, polished, and had all new tuning slid O-rings, water key cork, and stop rod bumper installed.  Valves are fast and smooth with very good compression.  All tuning slides are free including the third-valve dump slide.  Valve oil and tuning slide grease are for local pickup only and will not be shipped, but it does included a Bach 7C mouthpiece, new ProTec microfiber cloth, new ProTec leather finger protector, and the leather valve guard.  Comes in the nice, zippered hard case in good condition except where some kind of glue was spilled on the corner as seen in the photos.  I’ve mostly chipped that off, but you’ll need to finish getting it off the zipper if you want to use the external pocket.  S/n 638XXX is far too new for the published lists, but is likely 2008 or so.  Sells new for $3,399 at M&A so save more than $1,500, and snatch up one of the newest and nicest you’ll find on the used market!
