Bach Stradivarius 180S43 Silver Bb Trumpet

One of several professional trumpets we are offering for sale. This is a Bach Stradivarius 180S43 ML Bb trumpet in silver. This is an ML bore trumpet with a 25 leadpipe and 43 bell, giving it a little more warmth, control and projection than the more common Model 37’s. It is in very good condition:  silver plate about 95% with a couple small spots of wear mostly high on the valve casings under the leadpipe and bell where it's pretty hard to see. Scattered small dings, scratches and other signs of dent removal in its past, but no major dents or dings at the moment. Small dings at the end of a couple of the tuning slides where dents were removed, and a little extra solder where the third valve dump slide pull knob was reattached.  This site limits photos, but you can see additional eBay, though it's more expensive there. Unlike most of the Strads you may be looking at, this one has just been through the shop where it was chem cleaned twice with a little residual that will come out with its next ultrasonic cleaning, detergent cleaned, lubed, hand polished, and had all new tuning slide O-rings, valve felts, water key cork and stop rod bumper installed.  All tuning slides are free including the third-valve dump slide.  Valves are fast and smooth with no issues and very good compression.  Plays very well across the entire instrument.  Valve oil and tuning slide grease are for local pickup only and won’t be shipped, but it does include a 7C mouthpiece, a brand new ProTec leather finger protector, and a new ProTec microfiber cloth.   All in the original Bach case which is missing the liner on the inside of the lid, but a bit of foam or a towel there does fine. The perfect trumpet for someone who needs a great-playing trumpet without the cost of a near-perfect one. Sells new at M&A for a whopping $3,569, so save more than half, and put the other $1,700 toward your C-trumpet!
