Bach Stradivarius 180S43 Silver Trumpet--Chem Cleaned, Serviced--Warmer Than A 3

One of several professional trumpets we are offering for sale. This is a Bach Stradivarius 180S43 ML Bb trumpet in silver. This is an ML bore trumpet with a 25 leadpipe and 43 bell, giving it a little more warmth, control and projection than the more common Model 37’s. It is in very good condition:  silver plate about 97% with no actual wear other than some small places on the bell where it looks a bit scarred from past dent removal, and even in those places there is no brass showing, and a tiny patch on the bell crook as seen in the photo. Small scratches and dings scattered across the horn, but as you can see in the photos it is a great-looking instrument! Just through the shop where it was chem cleaned, detergent cleaned, lubed, polished, and had all new tuning slide O-rings, valve felts, water key cork and stop rod bumper installed.  All tuning slides are free including the third-valve dump slide.  Valves appear to have very little use at all, and are fast and smooth with no issues and excellent compression.  Plays very well across the entire instrument.  Valve oil and tuning slide grease are for local pickup only and won’t be shipped, but it does include a Bach 5C mouthpiece, a heavy-weight mouthpiece which is good for solo and lead, a brand new ProTec leather finger protector, aluminum straight mute, and a new ProTec microfiber cloth.  Comes in the excellent cordura-covered hard case in very good condition. A great instrument which will project well in marching band and give a bit more warmth and depth to that solo in symphony.  S/n 553XXX is far too new for the published lists, but is likely 2004-2005 or so.  Sells new for a whopping $3,413, so save more than $1,500, and snatch this one up before the marching band rush!
