Bach Stradivarius C180SL229 25A Silver C Trumpet

One of several professional trumpets we are offering for sale.  This is a Bach Stradivarius C180SL229 silver trumpet in the key of C.  This is Bach’s large-bore C trumpet with a 229 bell and a special-order 25A leadpipe, giving you a great response with less resistance than a 25C, along with the brilliant, focused tone and projection of the 229 bell.   S/n 73XXXX is far too new for the published lists, but this will be super close to 2014—ridiculously new in used trumpet terms.  It is in excellent condition:  plating about 99.5% with just a little if any wear at all, and some small marks and signs of past, careful dent removal if you look closely for them.  As you can see from the photos, it is a great-looking instrument.  Best of all, it has just been through the shop where it was disassembled, chem cleaned, detergent cleaned, lubed, polished, and had all new tuning slide O-rings, water key corks and piston felts installed.  All tuning slides are free, and the valves are fast and smooth with like-new compression.  Plays very nicely with good slotting and an easily-accessible upper register.  Comes in the new-style C180 deluxe hard case which is in near-perfect condition.  Sells for $4,199, so snatch this nearly-new one up in time for Christmas, and still save more than $1,600!
